For retailers who have enabled the Share feature, users can share items from the Product library or Asset library (found in the app's side-menu) with their personal contacts via other communication apps installed on their device.
1. When browsing the Product or Asset libraries, the user can select any item and hit the Attach option in the top right corner.
2. A pop-up will appear asking where you want to add the products. Hit Apps.
3. Depending on whether your device is an iOS or Android, this will prompt the native ‘share’ functionality of your mobile device. This is a menu that most you are probably already familiar with which allows you to share URLs or images from one app through other apps also installed on that device.
Connect with contacts via Messenger, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.
When the associate user selects one of these third-party apps from the share menu, the app will open its own page or overlay with its own options to add a comment and select a contact. Each app will provide its own options and user interface on how a product or asset can be shared and to whom.
Salesfloor attempts to share a subject line (in the case of an email, for example), the brand, the product name, regular and sale prices, an image and the URL to the product details page (including the information to track the rep and any subsequent sales that result from the recommendation). An asset is similar without any brand or pricing information.
