Salesfloor allows you to set 3 distinct subscription statuses for customers, which include:
1-to-1 only 
Means the customer can only be reached in 1-to-1 emails, or personal texting threads.
Subscribed to Marketing (1-to-Many) 
Means the customer can be contacted using the Share an Update email blast, or bulk texts. This allows for the greatest flexibility in communication. Associates can explain this to customers by saying “This is the option you would choose if you want to be included when I connect with my best customers about our big events.”
Unsubscribed to from all 
Means the customer has opted out of receiving any form of communication from users on the Salesfloor app. Once they take action to unsubscribe, they can only re-subscribe through messages or your Storefront.
