What is appointment management?
The Appointment Management feature allows Associates to book an In-Store, Live Chat or Phone Appointment on behalf of one of their Contacts from within the Salesfloor mobile app.
The objectives of this feature are:
- To support the in-store appointment use-case, where a customer shopping in-store wants to book a subsequent appointment with an associate
- To support the outgoing phone campaign use-case, where a team member offers an appointment time to a customer who verbally confirms
- To allow associates to book an appointment originating from a non-appointment customer request
- To support other use cases where the associate confirms the user’s desire to book outside the SF ecosystem and wants to record the appointment in the system to confirm with the customer
The underlying business goal is to empower associates to increase engagement, traffic and conversions, both in terms of immediate sales as well as follow-up conversions.
Who can use this feature?
The Appointment Management features are available to most retailers, via configuration. Some features are only applicable to Rep mode retailers, outlined below. The feature is available within the Mobile app, both BYOD and MDM versions.
