He's made his list and checked it twice, now all he needs is a little advice. He shops when you're sleeping, he shops when you're awake, and thanks to you it's a piece of cake. You better not pout, you better not cry; mom needs a dress and dad needs a tie. Thanks to Salesfloor, my local store is here to reply.
Bring the holiday spirit to your Salesfloor program this season with these quick tips from our team to help your clients handle the holiday hype.
1. Use Lookbooks to create Holiday Wishlists
Come every holiday season, who doesn't need a little inspiration? Using My Look Lookbooks, you can easily satisfy that need with a little temptation.
We all know Lookbooks are a great way to create dedicated pages for your top clients where they can shop a carefully curated collection of items handpicked by their favorite associate just for them, but My Look Lookbooks can also be used to create pages that speak to a much wider audience. Unlike a Customer Page Lookbook, once created, you can then re-use that My Look for multiple customers.
A great example inspired by Salesfloor users is creating Holiday Wishlists. Depending on your, or your store's, clientele, summarizing gift ideas by price point or theme can help cut the confusion of browsing page after page looking for the right pick for that special someone. For quick stocking stuffers, why not create a list of top gifts under $50? Why stop there? Meet your client at any price point with top gifts under $100, $300, $500, $1000, $2000... Really the sky is the limit. Maybe money's no option, well we've got you covered nonetheless: your goal is to help reduce your client's shopping fatigue with product collections for anyone on their list; creating dedicated My Looks to inspire "top gifts for him", "top gifts for her", "Top gifts for any amateur wine connoisseur", are equally as effective. Don't believe us? Some of our retailers have seen their customers' Average Order Value increase by 40%f when shopping Lookbooks versus more traditional channels.

2. Decorate your Storefront and check it twice
No, Salesfloor doesn't have a hot new holiday theme you can activate in your settings but take a closer look at those settings and you'll see a number of ways to add a little extra festive cheer to your page; starting with:
- Your Profile Picture: It is paramount that in this pursuit of festive flair, professionalism remains top of mind, though don't be afraid to have a little fun with your page! Replacing your profile picture with a new holiday-themed picture is a great way to bring life and luster to your page whether it's taking a selfie with a Santa hat, or taking a picture of your store's holiday displays.
- Your Profile Bio: Your bio provides an opportunity for you to make a statement on your page; primarily used to introduce yourself to your clients by inviting them to use your services and clarify your domain of expertise, your bio can also be an effective way to add a holiday greeting for your loyal browser window shoppers.
- Your Product Collections: The products that you choose to display on your Storefront help not only bring life to your page, but are equally import indicators of the styles, items, and brands that you represent. Moreover, they are your firm recommendations, your spotlight spread of products hand-picked for your clients. That list, however, can and should change periodically. Changing your Storefront Top Picks and New Arrivals is an effective strategy to not only provide your clients with evolving recommendations and increased exposure to new items, but it also keeps your Storefront relevant. After all, even the nicest cashmere sweater is a long shot in the sizzling summer heat. Leverage your retailers' holiday specials, Black Friday sales, Boxing Day blowouts and more to provide your audience with the best recommendations you can at the right time.

3. Send a Shared Update and spread holiday cheer:
We all know that Shared updates are the most effective way to reach as wide an audience of your clients as possible. You may recall that a shared update will deliver to any and all of your Salesfloor Subscribers, making it the most effective way to communicate your holiday greeting and remind your clients that you are here to help navigate the holiday retail rapids. Remember that a call-to-action goes a long way, and including an invite to book an appointment with you, attaching your retailer's holiday asset, or simply reminding clients that they can reach you at any time through your Storefront are all effective strategies to increase traffic for your account and strengthen your client relationships.

4. Create Follow-up tasks for the new year
Remember to check in with your clients after they've checked out with Salesfloor's Tasks. Using tasks, you can easily set a reminder for you or your store to follow up with clients you've met online or in-person; a precious opportunity to not only show your client that you've got them in mind but also to suggest complementary items, gauge their satisfaction with the items they purchased, identify new product needs, or offer you services to help them tackle the new year in style.
